If the pictures of the Palace stage that surfaced last month weren’t enough, an anonymous source has revealed to Kotaku new early gameplay footage of the Phantom Dust reboot they had been working on. Back in September Adam Isgreen tweeted, “New Palace looks amazing.”, referring to the Palace stage of Phantom Dust. Ever since, Phantom Dust fans have been hoping for a screenshot, to see for themselves what the game would look like. In a sad turn of events, Kotaku has revealed the studio behind the planned Phantom Dust reboot, Darkside Game Studios, closed its doors this afternoon. This in response to Microsoft ending their relationship with the studio. Microsoft has confirmed that development of the game will continue, but had no additional details at this time.
